About The Position

The Opportunity: Do you have strong analytic skills and a problem-solving mindset? Are you looking for an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders? As a Technical Targeter, you will use your specialized technical experience to support cyber space operations to enable the success of mission owners. As a Technical Targeter on our team, you will provide expert analytic support while working alongside mission owners to tackle complex and challenging problems by analyzing both cyber network and technical scientific data to guide computer network analysis, network exploitation, access development, and target network analysis. Your duties will require you to leverage a basic understanding of ports, protocols, networking devices, and common exploitation frameworks while also utilizing a more in-depth understanding of technical engineering/scientific documents. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of documents containing detailed records describing a product’s design, development, function, and maintenance, which include specifications, technical drawings, schematics, test reports, manuals, system architecture, and APIs, by presenting these findings to individuals with varying backgrounds. This will provide an opportunity to grow your expertise, develop new skills and tradecraft, use and share your methodologies and tool experience with other analysts, and most importantly, be a part of a team conducting offensive cyberspace operations that are crucial to national security. Requirements

  • Experience with routing and network infrastructure
  • Ability to read and understand technical engineering and scientific documents
  • Ability to clearly convey complex details to different audiences
  • Ability to leverage processes and tools for signals intelligence discovery analysis
  • Ability to assess networks and identify key network topology
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis, Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis, or 6+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an engineering discipline
  • Experience developing summaries/reports on technical and scientific data
  • Experience with dataflow and signals intelligence architecture
  • Knowledge of encryption, ports, protocols, and common network configurations
  • Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA, or SANS Certification
