The candidate would provide workstation support to end users in the city-wide environment. This role involves providing technical assistance and training to end users by performing various duties related to problem-solving, LAN and WAN knowledge, help desk experience, and customer service. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that users can effectively utilize their workstations and related technologies.

  • Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
  • Configuration of client's equipment to connect to the Internet via Local and Wide Area Network technologies.
  • Configure software to connect to Internet application servers.
  • Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications as related to Internet.
  • Obtain general understanding of Microsoft OS, Microsoft Server OS and application operations related to city offered services.
  • Provide further assistance to the Chief Technology Officer.
