About The Position

The Technical Support Specialist III provides Tier III support for SolutionHealth. The position is responsible for assessing new and existing applications, development of new workflows and the ability to interface with the helpdesk, desktop, configuration, network, server and storage teams at a high functional level. The specialist will be required to provide advanced level application and hardware support.

Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related field required.
  • COMP TIA A+ certification or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience supporting PCs in a networked environment required.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience preferably in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support for the SolutionHealth end user environment
  • Provides resolution for escalated tickets from the helpdesk and technical support teams
  • Creates and maintains the knowledge base for the technical support team
  • Analyzes and resolved complex technical problems that arise with application and hardware used by the SolutionHealth end user community
  • Triages more complex technical issues and engages the appropriate support group
  • Works directly with vendors and contractors to ensure repairs or problems are resolved in a timely manner
  • Assists in the administration of the Active Directory environment
  • Adheres to Service Level Agreements set by SH management and clinical and fiscal teams
