Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • Associate Degree (Business, Communication, IT, Technical, Engineering)
  • Occasional travel (0-05%)
  • Occasional overnight stays (0-05%)
  • Requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business <20% per week and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday.

  • Field experience in customer service.
  • Intermediate mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Good computer and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, willing to travel, and comfortable speaking in front of small groups.
  • Bi-lingual language skills (English/Spanish) beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic hardware/software technical support and assistance to clients via email, phone, and/or other remote methods.
  • Address and respond to customer inquiries on current and future company technology, such as InfoLink, Auto Positioning System (APS) and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) products and services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Provide customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Document client interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
  • Possess a basic understanding of the organization's products and services but escalates more complex inquiries to a Tier 3 support group.
  • Assist the delivery of on-going training for end users and the Company's Dealer/Branch support network.
  • Provide afterhours support for national accounts as required, as well as on-call weekend support when assigned.
