About The Position

Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is looking to hire a Level 1 Technician to provide deskside IT support to our customer. This is a full-time, on-site position, in Bethpage, NY - Long Island. Work hours are from 8:30a -4:00p, M-F. Our benefits include: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k with company match and PTO.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of technical support experience (deskside preferred)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Chrome OS
  • Experience using a ticketing system to manage support issues
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (local travel required)

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred
  • Experience working in an education environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Address support tickets in the ticketing system
  • Provide technical support to school staff and students
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and reimage Chromebooks
  • Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and projectors
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and IT staff to maintain documentation
  • Prioritize daily activities based on ticket urgency and administrative requests
  • Assist with additional IT-related tasks and projects as needed
