About The Position

StrikeWorks Solutions is seeking an Entry Level Technical Support Engineer to provide exceptional customer service and technical assistance to clients. This role involves being the first point of contact for end-users, troubleshooting various technical issues, and ensuring timely updates and documentation of support cases. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage client tickets effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support or related field preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Office, and networking protocols.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, or CCNA are a plus.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, networking equipment, VOIP phones, mobile phones, and networked printers.
  • Educate and train customers on applications and technology.
  • Maintain and document tickets in the ticket management system (ConnectWise).
  • Support and troubleshoot Apple and Windows computer systems, mobile platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Manage and escalate client tickets via online monitoring dashboard.
  • Maintain hardware including servers, workstations, and phones.
  • Process employee change event requests including new hires, terminations, and transfers.
  • Maintain IT asset and contract tracking system.
  • Coordinate and install new software applications on user workstations.
  • Perform basic network maintenance including wired and WIFI hardware.
  • Support the secure installation/configuration and remediation of computer hardware, software, systems, and networks.
