About the position
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for executing critical processes within the Renewable Operations Control Center, focusing on Solar and Energy Storage Systems. This role involves managing plant start-up and shutdown procedures, daily work management, troubleshooting, and energy market communications.
Responsibilities
- Execute all critical Renewable Operations Control Center processes.
- Manage plant start-up and shutdown (curtailment) procedures.
- Oversee daily work management including troubleshooting and outage restoration.
- Facilitate energy market communications.
- Perform remote inverter restoration.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using SCADA and data historian.
Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Exposure to statistical tools and techniques.
- Experience in a similar role or significant knowledge and abilities to perform the responsibilities listed.
- Relevant education and/or training is considered a plus.
