Requirements

  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Ability to perform soldering and operate required tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and update wiring diagrams
  • Repair wiring harnesses using documented schematics and data sheets
  • Assemble connectors and components to company standards
  • Verify instrumentation functionality using documented procedures
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Positive mindset, strong work ethic, and a proactive, can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Previous experience with data loggers and measurement sensors

Responsibilities

  • Check in and check out all equipment stored in the instrumentation lab
  • Serve as a super user for the internal asset management database (IndySoft)
  • Track and maintain accurate equipment inventory records
  • Troubleshoot, verify, and document equipment with reported issues
  • Support engineering teams by preparing and delivering equipment on time per project requests
  • Prioritize and manage calibration activities based on upcoming workload
  • Interface with calibration services and equipment vendors
  • Manage equipment storage locations and labeling
  • Maintain strong working relationships with engineers and other stakeholders
  • Support internal 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and organized lab environment
