Purpose The Technical Support Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Engineering Technical Support (ETS) Team and serves as an integral partner to the ETS Team Leader. This role provides technical support to EFCO’s worldwide users, maintains and improves the ETS Request System, and assists in the development and enhancement of ETS processes. The position is also responsible for the digitization and delivery of digital content—including Warehouse Manuals—and ensures the delivery of high-quality service to internal and external customers. The role must exemplify EFCO’s core ideology, values, and purpose.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s degree required. Drafting coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of EFCO experience or drafting experience.
  • Computer Skills: In-depth knowledge of Autodesk or related CAD software; strong PC skills required.
  • Other Requirements: Mechanical aptitude, mathematical ability, strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must work well under pressure, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality. Limited travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide frontline support to EFCO users worldwide through the ETS Request System and related tools. Maintain these systems and identify opportunities for expanded utilization. Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate CAD Database changes related to Standard Work Order (SWOD) updates, New Product Development, and ETS Requests. Collaborate with ETS team members, Product Engineers, and others to execute required changes.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver EFCO’s worldwide Standard Product Warehouse Drawings. Assist in developing, organizing, and delivering digital content in alignment with corporate guidelines. Explore and implement alternative digital delivery methods.
  • Assist with ETS Updates, proofreading documents and training materials, presenting content, and supporting additional projects as assigned.
  • Additional duties may be assigned to meet organizational goals and priorities. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing, to meet organizational goals and priorities.
