About The Position

The Technical Support Analyst - Level 2 role at Pepper Construction is a full-time position focused on providing day-to-day technical support across multiple offices and construction job sites in the Midwest. This position is integral to the IT team, responsible for troubleshooting, managing IT assets, and supporting various software and hardware systems. The role emphasizes a hands-on approach to problem-solving and collaboration with team members and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Information Technology field.
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
  • Ability to travel regularly between the Chicago office and various construction job sites.
  • Good verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience writing, publishing, and updating knowledgebase articles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical prowess of IT systems and infrastructure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager application packaging and deployment via Microsoft Intune.
  • Office365 Administration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Basic network troubleshooting of connectivity issues for both offices and job sites.
  • MDM enrollment of Android and iPhone devices using Intune Company Portal.
  • Installation and support of all Office 365 products including MS Teams and other company software.
  • Utilize and manage vendors for special projects such as cabling and security cameras.
  • Experience utilizing an IT ticketing system to track and manage incidents and requests.
  • Complete smartphone and tablet configurations including setup of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Responsible for asset management (KBOX) and asset database documentation.
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager application packaging and deployment via Microsoft Intune is a plus.
  • Image, configure and setup of all associated peripherals for new computers.
  • Conference Room support including MS Teams rooms experience required.
  • Technical training of personnel on smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
  • Printer and Copier configurations, scanning, and troubleshooting.
  • Respond to Help Desk Calls, Walkups, and e-mail requests.
  • Knowledge of cloud/internet-based storage systems.
  • Office365 Administration is a plus.
  • Conduct new hire technical orientations.
