About The Position

The Technical Support Agent at Quincy Compressor LLC plays a crucial role in providing assistance and expertise regarding Quincy rotary and reciprocating products. This position supports Field Service Technicians, distributors, and end users in the maintenance, service, and training of Quincy products, ensuring customer satisfaction and product performance. The agent will also be responsible for updating product knowledge, maintaining documentation, and providing training both in the field and in service schools.

Requirements

• High School Degree required; Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree preferred.
• 2 years' experience in a relevant role preferred.
• Knowledge of compressed air products and services.
• Technical expertise in the field.
• Excellent phone skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• CAD experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to move about the facility and occasionally at customer sites.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and expertise concerning Quincy rotary and reciprocating products.
• Support Field Service Technicians, distributor network, and end users in maintenance and service.
• Assist customers in obtaining technical information for Quincy Compressor performance satisfaction.
• Update personal knowledge of new products and warranty policies.
• Maintain current product documentation for the Technical Service Department.
• Provide daily reports of field problems reported by phone and email.
• Train Service Technicians and distributors on product service and repair.
• Administer remote monitoring platform (ICONS).
• Accompany service technicians to customer sites for air audits.
• Compile data and construct reports in a timely manner.
• Handle Industrial Air Piping design and modifications.
• Perform Quality Air Auditing and Compressor Power Consumption Audits.
• Troubleshoot networking and connectivity of compressed air equipment.
