About The Position

The Technical Sr Manager at CBRE is responsible for overseeing the mechanical operations, maintenance, and energy management of facilities. This role involves managing a team, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and implementing maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance appraisal.
• Strong leadership skills to empower team impact on quality and efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive mind.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in energy management and building systems operations.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, including establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
• Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities and assist in budget development.
• Implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs and maintain safety procedure manuals.
• Coordinate maintenance efforts with contractors and technicians.
• Oversee building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Guide communication with tenants, clients, and vendors.
• Facilitate the acquisition of new management contracts and maintain as-built drawings.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
