Technical Specialist Mid Level
About The Position
Provides second level engineering support in software and hardware system design, development, testing and interfaces. Will have quality assurance, asset management, or logistics responsibilities. Works with state-of-the-art and aging technologies that comprise the FAA's NAS and the products from emerging NAS modernization programs. The ideal candidate will have the following skills for supporting the ERIDS System: Hardware Problem Determination and Analysis General principals of Hardware Engineering/Testing Data Communication, Protocols, and Equipment Networks, Switches, and Routers Integration and testing of Hardware Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan layout, including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications Developing hardware installation plans, procedures, and reports Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications
