About The Position

Transportation Web Systems is seeking a Technical Specialist who will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and motivating diverse project teams throughout all phases of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering documentation and artifacts that provide exceptional value to the DIT-Transportation internal and external stakeholders. This position requires the candidate to come onsite on the first day to collect necessary equipment. The Technical Specialist will also be tasked with collecting and analyzing data for potential business expansion, identifying specific business opportunities, and coordinating with other teams to produce quality results and outcomes. In this role, the Technical Specialist will provide support as a project team member, liaising with internal and external partners, and assisting with the preparation and review of test procedures and reports. The candidate will help develop a strategic customer roadmap, establish and document processes to support all areas of responsibility, and develop use case scenarios for the user acceptance testing process. The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential. Additionally, the Technical Specialist will be responsible for developing and authoring test strategies, test plans, and test cases, as well as creating ad-hoc reports, data queries, standard reports, and dashboards to support business needs. The role involves integrating research, team ideas, and client feedback into solution requirements, maintaining high-quality project and software design documentation, and analyzing root causes of business issues to develop appropriate resolutions. The candidate will also assist business partners with test plans and related quality reviews, test business processes, and recommend relevant improvements.
