The position involves working closely with the Technical Specialist II, Technical Specialist Coordinator, and the laboratory management team to provide direction for the technical operation of the laboratory. This includes the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and assays. The role also requires validating and documenting operational changes using the test life cycle process (TLCP). Additionally, the individual will provide direction for operational workflow and serve as an expert resource for the work unit, including laboratory technologists. The position may also involve completing other projects or assignments as assigned.
