About The Position

Technical Specialist oversees technical functions in a sub-specialty area and assists section manager in workflow, personnel, educational, and administrative duties. Has a wide latitude for exercising independent judgment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field is required. In lieu of degree, additional experience will be considered.
• With Bachelor's Degree: At least one year of acceptable experience in a hospital clinical laboratory is required.
• Without Bachelor Degree: Three or more years of experience in the experience in the specialty area is required.
• Medical Technologist certified by ASCP, NCA, or CLT (HEW) is required.
