About The Position

At ByteDance, our RD Mid-Platform teams provide the foundational layer that powers our diverse ecosystem of global products. This team builds the core backend services, data infrastructure, front-end development frameworks, and enterprise-wide security solutions that enable our product teams to innovate and iterate at a global scale. As a Technical Sourcer on the RD Mid-Platform TA team, you will be a strategic partner in finding the engineering talent that builds this engine. You will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support our explosive growth, serving as a key advocate for our company and ensuring a high-quality, welcoming experience for every candidate.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to recruiters and hiring managers across both English and Mandarin-speaking regions, deeply understanding their technical requirements to build targeted talent maps and refine search strategies.
• Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier technical talent, with a focus on Front-end, Back-end, Infrastructure, and Security engineering.
• Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles using advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical forums, etc.).
• Collaborate with the wider recruiting team to refine sourcing processes, improve efficiency, and share best practices.
• Champion an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring a seamless transition to the recruiter.
• Track and analyze sourcing metrics and market data to provide insights, optimize strategies, and consult with hiring teams on the talent landscape.
