Technical Sourcer, Engineering & AI
About The Position
Peregrine builds software that helps public safety agencies make faster, smarter decisions with their data. Our platform brings together complex data systems empowering organizations to do their best work. We’re growing quickly and expanding into new industries and geographies. To support that growth, we’re looking for a Technical Sourcer who can help us identify and engage the strongest engineering talent in the industry. We’re looking for someone who knows how to map markets, build targeted pipelines, and engage world-class engineers; the kind of people building systems at the top infra and AI organizations. You’ll partner closely with recruiting leadership, hiring managers, and engineering leadership to bring exceptional technical talent into Peregrine.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience sourcing top talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Expertise in deep research across GitHub, technical communities, publications, open-source projects, and engineering networks to identify exceptional candidates
- Creative use of sourcing strategies to identify and engage exceptional technical talent across multiple roles
- Comfortable working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools to manage pipelines, track candidate activity, and maintain organized hiring workflows

- Skilled at evaluating candidates' technical expertise and motivations through intake calls
- Naturally curious and creative in how you approach sourcing; constantly exploring new ways to uncover, engage, and bring in top technical talent beyond traditional channels
- Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for senior and staff-level engineers, particularly across backend, distributed systems, data infrastructure, and AI/ML
