About The Position

Akamai is working to simplify the way people work in the cloud. The team's mission is to accelerate innovation by making computing simple, scalable, accessible, and affordable for all. We provide the infrastructure and services that enable developers to build next generation edge native applications. As a TSA, you'll be at the forefront of Akamai's cloud and edge computing initiatives. You will work directly with customers to architect and implement transformative solutions. You'll collaborate with sales teams, product managers, and partners to drive innovation and customer success.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or its equivalent.
  • Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing platforms and architectures.
  • Have a background in distributed systems and edge computing.
  • Demonstrate experience with modern development practices and tools (Kubernetes/container orchestration, edge computing/CDN technologies, streaming media, distributed databases/systems).
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise customers across cloud computing, edge technologies, and streaming platforms.
  • Designing and demonstrating proof-of-concept implementations using Akamai's technology stack.
  • Driving customer adoption through technical workshops, hackathons, and enablement sessions.
  • Creating technical content including blogs, documentation, and reference architectures.
  • Influencing the product roadmap by advocating for the customer needs and market trends.
  • Providing technical leadership in specialized domains such as edge computing, distributed systems, or media streaming.
  • Collaborating with qualified compute partners (QCPs) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Developing and presenting at technical conferences and customer events.
