About The Position

Under the direction of the Slot Technical Manager, the Technical S hift Manager is responsible for using independent judgment in managing the day to day operation of the slot repair department, which includes, among other things, assigning work to employees and providing direction, interviewing, hiring and supervising employees, transferring employees, establishing employee work schedules, disciplining and discharging employees, rewarding employees, addressing employee workplace complaints and/or grievances, maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the slot repair shop , ensuring the gaming floor remains fully operational and compliant with all regulatory standards, and ensuring that all company and departmental standards and procedures are followed. This position requires communication with other departments and outside vendors to complete projects efficiently and on time, as well as ensuring efficient performance, repair and maintenance of all slot machines and equipment. This position requires an ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and employees, and an ability to effectively write and present detailed status reports for executive management. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. Due to the nature of the business, the candidate for this position must be able to work flexible hours as dictated by business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of six (6) years Slot Technical experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and employees
  • Ability to effectively write and present detailed status reports for executive management
  • Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by business needs
