About The Position

The Technical SETA will provide support in the execution of the lifecycle of a research program from development, source selection, execution, closeout, and transition. The Technical SETA will be responsible for attending meetings, workshops, conferences, and testing events as the Subject Matter Expert. In this role, the Technical SETA will serve as the Subject Matter Expertise in Circuit Automation and Design Engineering using Artificial Intelligence.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph
  • PhD in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a STEM field
  • TWO (2) or more years’ post-PhD experience in quantum-information processing and/or quantum computing

Nice To Haves

  • SIX (6) or more years’ of research experience in quantum computing, demonstrating deep understanding of physical systems, quantum-information processing, error correction, and fault tolerance. Recent experience managing a quantum-computing effort may substitute for up to three years.
  • TWO (2) or more years’ experience as a Technical SETA
  • TWO (2) or more years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary, multi-institution research
  • TWO (2) or more years’ experience in the IC, including transitioning research products to other organizations
