What You'll Do We are currently seeking a Technical Services Representative , who is responsible for delivering a high standard of service to the customers of ATEC by providing technical, training, and pricing support to customers. This individual will communicate courteously to customers via telephone, email, letter, or in person. A reasonable estimate for starting pay in this role is between $19 and $22 per hour depending on skills and experience. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Investigate and solve complex and/or long-lasting problems with ATEC equipment Handle customer complaints or other incidents related to warranty or product performance issues Service returned goods for repair, assess warranty claims or repair for purchase Process returned goods to determine if they should return to stock or be scrapped Issue refunds or compensation to customers as required Driving a delivery truck short distances to pick up or drop off parts and orders Maintain records of discussions with customers Occasional on-site repair service for customers General Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills. What We're Looking For This role requires a High School Diploma or GED. We are looking for a candidate with 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair. Other qualifications include: Strong technical knowledge of baseball and softball pitching machines and parts or the ability to learn Exceptional service orientation: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize/maintain composure with customers in sometimes intense situations Strong critical-thinking skills, logic, and problem-solving abilities Valid drivers license and good driving record Ability to use hand tools Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, Access, and Word A passion for the sport of baseball and/or softball Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
