The position involves operating and maintaining Utility Plant Services equipment deployed at customer sites both in the U.S. and internationally. This includes working with demineralizers, filters, membrane-based systems, chemical injection systems, and dewatering equipment. The role also encompasses providing post-sale technical support services to customers, which includes installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance of products and services. Additionally, the position requires training technicians on how to operate systems and equipment, processing water, performing resin transfers, and conducting tank cleanouts and desludging at various plants. The individual will be responsible for scheduling and handling cask shipments, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) certified package and transport inspections for cask shipments, and processing and packaging plant waste streams while maintaining associated procedures and records. Support during plant outages and assistance with plant projects are also part of the role. The position requires compliance with all safety and operational policies and procedures, compiling and assessing data for efficient system operations, preparing daily logs and weekly/monthly operating reports, and developing and revising work, project, and test procedures. The individual will maintain day-to-day customer interface and work with UPS management to resolve customer concerns promptly. The role does not involve supervising other workers and may include other duties as assigned.
