This position is responsible for establishing the required customer and academic network in the region and to facilitate the required knowledge within the organization as well as support the regional technical development of new product and services.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Animal Science, Veterinary, MA or PhD preferred.
3-5 years of experience working in Animal health and/or nutrition (monogastric). Poultry experience required.
Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
Works on providing technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions, while also providing technical assistance when necessary.
Works on providing technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
Works on providing technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
Works on providing technical guidance when required on motivating all employees to learn, grow and develop so that they can obtain the knowledge and experience they need to help the organization reach its goals.
Coordinates research and analyzes data while providing technical guidance as needed in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.
Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans.
Communicates with other people and provides technical guidance when required on speaking in a clear, concise and compelling manner

Responsibilities

Promote and support the sales (by providing technical support) of Specialty Nutrition products and services
Bring product knowledge to customers where and when needed
Provide technical support to customers for the application of animal nutrition & health additives and technical services (development and application).
Coordinate the communication and work with partners as well as coordinate customer support and projects accordingly.
Communicate customers' needs internally that will further drive important product positioning and research.
Identify, collect, and provide information about customer´s needs and market insights in the region
Plan, coordinate and evaluate animal trials with customers, feed formulation, and develop applied research science with leading universities as needed.
Support the global research group, to develop necessary trials and portfolio expansion, which will have production application value.
Train and lead technical and sales colleagues on technical animal health topics, products and services.
