The Technical Services Engineer III provides advanced technical support across server, network, and Microsoft 365 environments. This role serves as the final escalation point for complex issues, mentor junior staff, and contributes to documentation and process improvement. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving problems while interfacing with diverse personalities. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm ET, and providing on-call/after hours, including weekends, when necessary.

  • Microsoft 365 Expertise & Administration
  • Manage Conditional Access policies for secure access control
  • Implement and maintain Compliance Policies (e.g., DLP, retention)
  • Oversee Application Management across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams
  • Administer devices via Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Advanced Technical Support
  • Resolve escalated issues across server, network, and cloud environments
  • Perform server tasks: DHCP, DNS, AD Connect, IIS, SSL, MS SQL
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and performance issues
  • Mentorship & Documentation
  • Coach Tier 1/2 staff and share technical best practices
  • Maintain internal documentation and client-facing guides
  • Client-Facing Service Delivery
  • Provide professional support via phone, email, and chat
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and user access issues
  • Communicate status updates and create client reports
  • Operational Responsibilities
  • Follow SLA-driven workflows and escalation protocols
  • Monitor backups and maintain accurate inventory
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance readiness
  • 3+ years in MSP or enterprise IT support
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Mac OS, iOS, Android
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, server hardware, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, Microsoft 365 (required); Security+ or Azure Admin (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in SLA-driven environments
  • Previous MSP Experience required
  • Veteran status preferred
