A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICAL SERVICE TRAINER As a Technical Service Trainer, you provide invaluable opportunities for our clients in their technical development to advance their careers. You play a critical role in the success of the service training department. You will create and maintain training material, and deliver the material using instructor-led, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods and formats. Keeping company objectives in mind, you ensure the strategic alignment of the training department with the service department. Your dedication, leadership ability, and extensive knowledge of heavy equipment contributes to the overall success of our training presentations and modules! On a daily basis, you work with our service team members to find what the customer's needs are based on their troubleshooting out in the field. By planning ahead, you are able to develop and deliver solutions that meet manufacturing needs. You ensure that our crews have the knowledge they need to problem-solve and support the machinery. Using your great organizational skills, you build and deliver multiple training programs at one time. You are determined to make sure that the needs of our service team are met. Requirements

  • AS/BS college degree or technical school graduate preferred
  • Experience working as a service trainer - looking for prior teaching experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong leader with the ability to motivate others
  • Effectively handle conflict and crisis management

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with online training tools is a plus
  • College or technical degree in heavy equipment, machinery, diesel engines, hydraulics, or electric is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
