About The Position

The Technical Service Manager (Bioethanol Enzymes) position at GenScript USA Inc/ProBio Inc. is a remote role based in the United States, requiring over 30% travel. The role involves coordinating with the account team to enhance business growth by improving service levels to customers, developing technical solutions for key accounts and distributors, and creating value to safeguard existing business while addressing complex technical issues. The manager will engage with customers to build trust and access their operational teams, oversee product upgrades, and collaborate with various functions within Bestzyme to contribute to competitor mapping and new product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in bio-engineering, Chemical engineering or relevant majors.
• Minimum of 5 years' working experience in technical service/ R&D/ in Enzyme business, or production operation in ethanol/Grain processing.
• Proven communication skills, can effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, across a multicultural organization.
• Strong business mindset; Experienced or comfortable with working in matrix organization.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate account team to drive business growth by strengthening the service level to customer.
• Develop technical solution/innovation for regional key account and distributors to address customer needs and support joint business growth.
• Create strong and differentiated value to key account and distributors to safeguard our existing business and solve complex technical issues.
• Engage customers, establish close and trust relationship as well as build access to customer’s operation team.
• Own the development and execution for the product upgrade, new solution identification and development and communication with customer technical team.
• Close connect with different functions of Bestzyme, play an important role on competitor mapping, new product launch, ideation workshop etc. from the technical perspective.
• Join in some key projects initiated by RD and commercial team and play key role with technical perspective.
