The Technical Server Support role at Reynolds & Reynolds involves providing 24/7 technical support for the Reynolds POWER Application Servers and related computer equipment. This position requires a high degree of technical knowledge in server hardware, Linux, and proprietary software, along with the ability to evaluate new products and recommend improvements to documentation and products. The role is dynamic and fast-paced, offering opportunities for insight and recommendations on existing products, as well as the creation of technical documentation.

  • Provide technical support for Reynolds POWER Application Servers and related computer equipment.
  • Support is provided primarily by telephone to customers and on-site technicians.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge in server hardware, Linux, and proprietary software.
  • Evaluate new products and recommend changes to enhance reliability.
  • Support and repair internal Production servers located in company datacenters and QA/Testing servers throughout the company.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Solid troubleshooting ability.
  • 2 years experience or equivalent tech school degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Technical documentation skills, a plus.
