About The Position

Our Technical Security Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include planning and the execution of security procedures that safeguard the data and information at Quva from being intentionally attacked, accessed without authorization, corrupted, or stolen. This position is responsible for the formulation and execution of plans and programs designed to safeguard enterprises against cyberattacks. In addition, the Technical Security Manager is responsible for identifying existing security risks and forecasting possible attacks. In this role, the Manager will oversee security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls, patching, encryption, vulnerability scanning, pen testing, etc. Turn your passion for precision and your commitment to quality into a meaningful impact on healthcare across the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Security; Computer Science or Cybersecurity
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Information Technology in combination with Data Security
  • Information Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.
  • Experience with configuration and management of Single Sign-On systems
  • Knowledge of security methodologies and frameworks (CIS;NIST etc.), policies, standards, and best practices, including firewall rules, cloud proxies, Active Directory, Vuln management tools
  • May require local travel by car to other Quva locations
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas

Responsibilities

  • Monitors regulation compliance.
  • Implements policies and procedures to keep your organization in compliance with current legislation and standards
  • Provides employees with security training. It is critical that all workers understand how their everyday job actions affect the overall security of the firm. Trains staff on defined policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
  • Takes corrective and preventive action if an employee breaks the policies or procedures. Understands the security threats connected with various job functions
  • Maintains all security tools and technology
  • Audits policies and controls continuously. Keeps the infrastructure secure by supervising the IT auditing procedure (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, etc.)
  • Ensures cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar
  • Implements new technology. Ensures that the company's data is protected using the most secure technologies available
  • Is aware of any potential harm the new threats may have on your network infrastructure and existing security procedures
  • Maintains the security of all applications, networks, and systems that interact with the outside world. This involves ensuring that all third-party service providers are held to the same security standards as the internal users
  • Serves as a point of contact for high-risk vulnerabilities and occurrences. This includes assessing the risk associated with new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits before deciding how to respond to them
