About The Position

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will report to the Technical Sales Manager and collaborate with engineers, contractors, distributors, and public agencies to support project development, provide technical expertise, and drive the adoption of Jensen products. This role blends technical consultation with business development, requiring a balance of problem-solving skills, customer engagement, and sales acumen.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, civil/environmental engineering, or related site development projects.
  • Experience with stormwater, precast, or construction industry products preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in your territory by developing new accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and executing smart growth strategies.
  • Work directly with engineers, contractors, agencies, and developers—delivering presentations, hosting industry events, and providing expert guidance on products, specifications, and compliance.
  • Support customers from initial quote through design, pricing, and installation to ensure successful outcomes and lasting partnerships.
  • Team up with sales, engineering, and marketing colleagues while staying ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings.
