Our Technical Sales Reps work together to form our highly successful Specification and Design Team. As a group, they work diligently to identify projects across the US and around the world where our products can provide needed security to people and facilities. Your role as a Technical Sales Rep: Train with our experienced team of Specification and Design Associates to learn Tymetal Security equipment and the various applications. Respond via phone and email to requests for product info and site design assistance relative to Tymetal product integration. Identify, qualify via outbound phone calls and track construction projects that offer an opportunity for Tymetal products by searching Industry Reports. Work with the project architect/engineer to find a Tymetal solution to meet their needs. Coordinate with the Tymetal Engineering team to provide conceptual design proposals for design clients. Provide product information, drawings, specifications, ASTM and UL guidance to architects and facility owners. Aggressively seek to have the Tymetal product(s) included in construction project bid documents. Communicate all leads to the Regional Sales Manager and Inside Sales Associate. Attend and participate in weekly Regional Sales Team meetings. Who We Are: TYMETAL is a subsidiary company of Fort Miller Group, an employee-owned company. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce [CRM].
  • An understanding of the construction process and mechanical concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and a two year degree in an engineering or technical field are desired.
