About The Position

DISHER is currently partnering with a growing company specializing in hydronic radiant heating solutions in their search for a Technical Sales Representative. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for using their technical expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. They will be working cross functionally with the marketing department to proactively reach out to new customers and grow in new markets. While the company is small, there is lots of room for growth within. The right person will be able to help shift company culture and take the organization to new heights while advancing their career. The position offers hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to be a leader within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in technical sales, preferably in the HVAC industry or related industry
  • Strong understanding of HVAC technologies and their applications
  • Proven track record of growing sales with excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively explain technical concepts to a non-technical customer
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Analytical and effective problem solving skills
  • Able to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events

Responsibilities

  • Sales and business development - identify, pursue and grow new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with contractors, installers and commercial distributors in the HVAC industries that specialize in selling hydronic radiant floor heating systems
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on selection, installation and maintenance of floor heating systems
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, addressing needs and resolving any issues
  • Conduct product demonstrations and develop training sessions to educate customers and stakeholders
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies
  • Work with engineering, sales and marketing in product development to ensure customer feedback is being integrated into product improvements
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and other documentation
