About The Position

The position involves understanding customer technical requirements and providing customized solutions based on the existing or future Fortress product portfolio. The role is responsible for building trust-based relationships with clients through technical expertise and effectively communicating the Cyclops setting tool program’s reliability. The candidate will prepare and present Fortress’ product presentations and product demonstrations tailored to completions engineers, service contractor operations management, and frac plug sales staff. Clear communication of complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in Fortress customer’s offices is essential. The role also includes supporting field trials, product testing, and customer evaluations, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, and operations teams, and accurately working within CRM and pipeline management tools for sales forecasting. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, assist with proposal writing, maintain awareness of competitor technologies, participate in root cause analysis investigations, and assist with developing global forecasts for Fortress customer accounts. Regular wellsite visits are required to evaluate product performance, and the candidate must actively travel to learn about customer needs and provide training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of Oil and Gas experience, US frac experience preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US frac operations and completions tools.
  • Excellent existing service contractor and oil company relationships.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Valid US driver’s license and safe driving history.

  • Maintain certification to operate NOV company vehicles.
  • Capability to pass all Operator HSE requirements/training.
