About The Position

Technical Sales/Account Manager – Manufacturing Services Unique opportunity for a Technical Manufacturing Sales/Account Manager role in the Mundelein area. This role will serve as the primary contact for clients and partner with management to coordinate all projects from quoting to inventory to project management through to final shipping. Successful Experience will include: Experience within a manufacturing environment to include: Fabrication, Stamping, Machining, Injection Molding and others. Ability to build rapport with new and existing customers leading to quotes and sales. Qualify/contact sales leads, Prepare and follow-up with proposals Able to communicate project status both written and verbally with customers to assist the team through the order process. Manage, track, and report on projects to successful completion. Ability to work self-directed with the ability to wear many hats. Identify and propose new product/market opportunities

Requirements

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment to include: Fabrication, Stamping, Machining, Injection Molding and others

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the manufacturing industry, ideally mechanical parts and components
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to be self-directed
