About The Position

Responsible for supporting business continuity and operational resilience by identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology and process risks. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments, ensure continuity planning, and strengthen controls. Works with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the organization's technology infrastructure, applications, and data. Supports readiness for disruptions by helping implement continuity strategies, testing procedures, and improving response capabilities. Applies critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to protect key operations. Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Growing an understanding of business needs and objectives. Solve a range of mostly straightforward problems with some increased scope and complexity. Developing professional with basic skill set and proficiency with procedures and techniques.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in technical risk/business continuity/operational resiliency
  • Experience in risk analysis, information technology, information security, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and/or cloud computing
  • Strong understanding of business and operating environment
  • Strong analytical skills to identify potential technical risks and propose practical solutions for risk mitigation
  • Strong attention to detail in evaluating risk factors, control measures, and compliance issues
  • Ability to interpret technical data and assess its impact on business operations
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements, e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to report risk findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Continuity or a related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience

  • Master's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC)
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations, e.g., GDPR

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on existing and new technologies
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop, implement, and test business resiliency plans to ensure preparedness for operational disruptions
  • Conduct and maintain Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery priorities across business functions
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to information security and risk management
  • Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to relevant regulations
  • Provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on risk findings, trends, and risk mitigation efforts
  • Work with internal teams to promote risk awareness and drive a culture of risk management across the organization
