Technical Retail Associate - Temp Technology | Shelton, CT Reports to: Manager, IT Retail Systems Role Overview This position will focus on handling daily IT support tickets, delivering monthly remote support to boutiques as per the IT HUB model, and supporting various IT project work.

Requirements

  • Understanding of PC hardware and software installation, diagnosis, and repair
  • Read and analyze log files, software installation troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of Windows 11
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Basic AD administration Account and group creation DHCP and DNS
  • Possess written and oral skills to properly communicate with technical teams and the user community
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Cisco IOS is helpful
  • Knowledge of Meraki hardware is helpful
  • Understanding of Citrix a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist Retail Infra Team with day-to-day tasks as well as new and ongoing projects
  • Hands-on and remote support of Windows-based PCs, laptops, tablets, and assorted peripherals
  • Handle support tickets for hardware and software issues/requests
  • Imaging and configuring computers (break/fix, new requests)
  • Monthly IT support calls with assigned boutiques
  • Monthly PCI Compliance Review
  • Participate in project work, including (but not limited to): Retail Refresh Project Retail site buildouts Preparing and shipping new POS stations and corporate devices
