About The Position

The position is for Specialized Assignment Recruitment within the Technical Rescue Team (TRT) for Fire Engineers. Specialized assignments will be posted annually from January 1st to December 31st, allowing employees to apply throughout the year. Interviews will only be conducted if a vacancy arises, and eligible applicants will be notified via email at least one week prior to the interview date. This email will detail the vacancy, application deadline, and interview dates. Selections will be made from candidates who interviewed for the current vacancies, and if another vacancy occurs before the end of the year, a similar notification process will be followed.

Requirements

• Must complete Technical Rescue Team certification in all disciplines within one year of assignment.
• Must maintain Technical Rescue Team certification in all disciplines to continue the assignment.
• Must become truck certified within one year of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Complete Technical Rescue Team certification in all disciplines within one year of assignment.
• Maintain Technical Rescue Team certification in all disciplines to continue the assignment.
• Become truck certified within one year of assignment.
• Fulfill all responsibilities of a Station 82 Team Member.
