About The Position

Capgemini is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex modernization and transformation programs to Cloud. This role involves owning the scoping, planning, and execution of features and processes from end to end. The Technical Program Manager will have high visibility across business units, partnering with and influencing the direction of multiple engineering teams both within and outside their business line.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program or project management spanning across cross functional teams, with at least 4+ years on Cloud transformation.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional technical programs from concept through delivery.
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience using analytics to translate business issues into investigative solutions, develop Key Performance Indicators and metrics(e.g., cost savings, quality of decision-making, improved efficiency and velocity)

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system architecture, cloud technologies, and/or hardware integration.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Proficient in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other modern delivery frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability engineering principles.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project)

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple priorities.
  • Own program planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, budget and overall execution.
  • Drive alignment across engineering, product, operations, cybersecurity, and leadership teams to deliver against committed program goals, timeline and budget.
  • Build and maintain detailed program roadmaps, milestones, and dependency frameworks.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues with a proactive approach.
  • Ensure delivery of technical capabilities that meet requirements for quality, security, and compliance.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve technical and programmatic conflicts.
  • Prepare program dashboards, status reports, and decision-ready briefing materials.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all program communications
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate trade-offs, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Support long-term technical strategy, capability road mapping, and resource planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical execution with strategic direction
  • Lead matrixed teams without direct authority; influence technical and business partners.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor teams on program discipline, requirements quality, and execution best practices.
