About The Position

This role is responsible for leading the successful implementation of complex technology projects for healthcare clients. The Technical Project Manager oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of customer projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact. The position requires collaboration across internal teams and client stakeholders, providing technical guidance, project coordination, and risk management. Candidates will translate business requirements into actionable project plans, conduct technical workshops, and ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions. This role is highly client-facing, emphasizing relationship building, transparency, and proactive problem solving. It offers exposure to cutting-edge technology in healthcare and opportunities to influence process improvements. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, technically proficient, and skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in client consulting and technology project management.
  • Expertise with Master Data Management (MDM) or Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) technologies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, including EMRs, Integration Engines, and Population Health/Analytics solutions.
  • Experience managing internal and client resources, monitoring progress, and mitigating project risks.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to guide clients on solution design and integration.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP certification or agile experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily for client meetings and project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of customer implementation projects, from contract signing to production go-live.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Coordinate internal resources including sales, architects, delivery analysts, and support to meet project objectives.
  • Design solutions with clients, integrating cloud-based services into existing technologies and business processes.
  • Conduct whiteboard sessions, document data flows, architectural diagrams, and project plans for client presentations.
  • Collaborate with client experience and product teams to enhance implementation processes and technology.
  • Build trust and maintain transparency with clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and satisfaction.
