Prelim is revolutionizing how financial institutions onboard and serve their customers. Our platform powers critical banking operations for institutions across the U.S., from community banks to multi-billion dollar credit unions. We're a fast-growing, remote-first startup on a mission to make banking more accessible for everyone. We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Implementation team and lead banks through their digital transformation journey. You'll manage multiple high-stakes deployments simultaneously, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure our banking clients successfully launch on time. This is a hands-on role where organization meets execution. You'll be the conductor orchestrating complex implementations while building trusted relationships with banking executives and operations teams.

  • Manage multiple concurrent bank implementations with overlapping timelines, tracking dependencies and risks while driving projects to on-time completion
  • Lead client calls and build trusted relationships with stakeholders from C-suite executives to operations staff, handling difficult conversations and managing expectations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Implementation Associates, engineers, and Customer Success to ensure smooth project execution and post-launch transitions
  • Translate complex technical requirements between clients and internal teams while protecting your implementation team from scope creep
  • Jump in to help with hands-on configuration and debugging when needed, keeping projects moving forward during resource constraints
  • Document solutions and identify process improvements to enhance future deployments and team efficiency
  • Escalate strategically to sales and leadership when additional support is needed to unblock critical issues
  • Exceptional organizational skills, you live by your task lists and calendars
  • Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Grace under pressure, you stay calm when clients are stressed and deadlines are tight
  • Natural problem solver who finds creative solutions within constraints
  • Self-starter who takes ownership without waiting for direction
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and located within the continental United States
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech
  • Background in software implementations or professional services
  • Technical aptitude, ability to understand platform capabilities and limitations
  • Previous experience managing aggressive timelines with fixed deadlines
  • Familiarity with no-code platforms or integration projects
  • Remote-first work environment
  • Opportunities for career advancement and professional development
  • Mission-driven work impacting financial accessibility
  • Diversity and inclusion valued within the company
