About The Position

NIRA Inc, a fast-growing women-owned small business, is seeking a junior Project Manager to support a critical FAA program and support the modernization of the Air Traffic Control critical systems by facilitating IP infrastructure migration. The Individual needs to demonstrate the ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership. This position requires strong analytical and engineering skills, the ability to collect and combine information from multiple sources to create a comprehensive picture of the project and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders . : Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance The Technical Project Manager will support a critical FAA program modernizing Air Ground (A/G) Communication systems, with a focus on IP infrastructure migration. The role requires strong technical, analytical, and coordination skills to manage system implementation activities, analyze complex data, and communicate program status and solutions to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IP networking, system engineering, or technical project management
  • Strong understanding of IP networking and VoIP technologies
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IP infrastructure implementation and network provisioning activities
  • Track and process IP address requests and telecommunications service requests
  • Maintain IP management databases and support capacity planning
  • Support commissioning of new system channels and future IP assignments
  • Collaborate with engineering and test teams to verify VoIP performance (SIP/RTP) and troubleshoot call quality issues
  • Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to assess impacts, risks, and solutions
  • Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and briefings for senior stakeholders
  • Serve as liaison between program offices, management, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, SOPs, IP plans, and change records
