Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on information security, cybersecurity, or IT projects within the financial sector.
• 2+ years working experience in JIRA
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST and financial industry regulations is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a technical and compliance-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certification is a plus.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple security projects, ensuring alignment with team objectives and the organization's strategic goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, with a focus on IT policy, financial compliance, and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, legal, Internal Controls, business teams, and external partners to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders to ensure transparency.
• Measure and report on project effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and other relevant metrics.
• Prepare, participate in, and facilitate senior leadership Security Ops Control review meetings; create articles to communicate statuses and celebrate successes.
• Serve as JIRA Administrator for the Compliance and Application Security teams: maintain user management, drive data integrity, and ensure consistency across the portfolio.
• Generate JIRA and Confluence dashboards and required views to support reporting and status updates.
• Define, analyze, and provision key performance metrics in response to leadership requests
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing process enhancements to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
