About The Position

itD is seeking a Technical Project Manager II to lead cross-functional hardware program delivery supporting AR/wearables camera module development initiatives. This role drives successful definition, planning, and execution of complex semiconductor and consumer electronics programs, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in semiconductor, camera hardware, and consumer device development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-platform technology programs across geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
  • PMP or PMI certification.
  • Experience working on camera module development programs.
  • Consumer electronics hardware development experience.
  • Semiconductor industry experience.
  • Experience managing hardware and/or software programs within semiconductor environments.
  • Strong understanding of hardware/software development timelines, software branch management, and task management.
  • Demonstrated project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and budget management experience.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform systems environments.
  • Proven leadership and cross-group collaboration experience across multiple geographic locations.
  • Experience using program management software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program execution for AR/wearables camera module hardware development initiatives.
  • Deliver programs within defined scope, quality, schedule, and budget parameters while managing moderate-risk factors.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including hardware, software, semiconductor, and module integration stakeholders across multiple geographic locations.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, documentation, time estimation, and project tracking activities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks through structured contingency planning and issue resolution.
  • Present program status, risks, and strategic updates to executive-level leadership.
  • Drive dependency management across hardware/software timelines, including software branch and task management alignment.
  • Foster strong collaboration and communication across matrixed teams and external partners.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
