As a Technical Project Manager I, you will lead projects within the Endoscopy Project Management group. You will collaborate cross-functionally, cross-divisionally, and internationally to drive strategic projects or programs that are critical to business continuity. This role will focus on leading multiple efforts across the Sustaining Organization, helping to drive to meet business objectives, quality system compliance, and regulatory requirements around the world. You will work directly with Sustaining Leadership to identify and assess new opportunities, playing a key role in managing the overall portfolio of projects. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

  • Effectively lead moderately sized project teams ensuring good cross-functional communications and alignment to ensure timely completion of the project or task.
  • Generate and implement project plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments.
  • Build team ownership and commitment to project plan and identify, manage, and communicate project risks.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
  • Interact with senior personnel on complex matters requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to management.
  • Document project meeting minutes, issues log, decision logs, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Manage individual project challenges and recommend solutions to address them.
  • Ensure current BSC policies and practices are followed, and accurate documentation requirements are followed.
  • Identify resources required for project activities, develop project budgets, resource allocations and timelines.
  • Partner and collaborate with a variety of functions, regions, and business resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 5+ years of work experience in product development OR Master's Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 3+ years of work experience in product development.
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule and budget.
  • Strong situational leadership skills with the ability to adapt communication and management style to diverse audiences.
  • History of driving projects to completion with accuracy, timeliness, and attention to quality standards.
  • Comfortable presenting complex information to senior leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with working knowledge of Microsoft Project for scheduling and tracking project deliverables.
  • Prior experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry with an understanding of quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Educational or professional background in engineering, life sciences, or a related technical field.
  • PMP® certification (or equivalent) demonstrating formal project management training and expertise in planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
