Requirements

  • BS in a related Engineering field (for example: System Engineering or Project management).
  • Minimum of 3 years technical application experience in the battery industry (with customer contact preferred) or experienced in data-center system development.
  • Require knowledge of Project management.
  • An understanding of battery design (Li-ion cell, Lithium primary cell, protection circuit) in order to provide in-depth knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with strong Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ability.
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • An ability of communicating in Japanese (both writing and reading) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate closely with customers and relevant members of the company based on an understanding of customer conditions and market trends.
  • Lead customer projects under development or product design changes in MP models as they should be on time schedule in order to achieve Sales budget.
  • Create quotes and receive POs with controlling product productions and their shipments.
  • Lead data-center key customers' projects.
  • Handle Project control, Quote/PO with logistics control.
  • Manage projects and conventional products.
  • Coordinate engineering sample logistics (Shipping to customers).
  • Handle certification and status tracking to meet transportation's regulations.
  • Bridge and communicate customers and Japan FAE/CRM teams.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with customers and Japan teams.
  • Coordinate with Panasonic factories (Japan, Mexico) and SCM teams for sample building.
  • Prepare samples or their material preparations.
  • Track RMA(QA)/FA status for Data-center customers.
  • Control RMA for returned and inspected product inventories in a warehouse.
  • Work with a warehouse company and check logistic status.
  • Report inventories to SCM and QA team in Panasonic Japan and US for their system input.
  • Check logistic status for returning products which may ship to Mexico.
  • Create SOW for project start, input necessary information into SOW.
  • Create a total project schedule with Japan team and input to SOW.
  • Check a budget of NRE, sample fees or any other costs with PdM team and input to SOW.
  • Track a status of these fees payment from customers.
