Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Technical Program Manager (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA. Responsible for the execution of one or more well-defined projects, under direct guidance of manager or PM lead. Participate in project scheduling and budgeting, and prepare analysis in support. Persistently communicate and address obstacles delaying projects from delivering against objectives. Effectively communicate via reporting, notes, documentation, FAQs, escalations, and more. Support Visa PMM required project gates and artifacts, fiscal management, and work estimation. As a Scrum Coach, facilitate multiple teams and work cross-functionally to ensure quality and timely delivery into our production systems. Participate in PM relevant improvement initiatives. Domestic travel may be required. Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

  • Participate in PM relevant improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a technical program/project manager or software engineer-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in a technical program/project manager or software engineer-related occupation.
  • Experience in project management tools (Jira, Clarity, Microsoft Office, Project, Access, and Power Bi).
  • Familiarity with Software development life cycle and associated tools (Bit Bucket, Jenkins, and Github).
  • Understanding and practicing Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or SAFe).
  • Familiarity with managing Cloud technology projects that use AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Understanding of infrastructure/Hardware deployment life cycles.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or PERL.
