In your daily job you will: Ownership and high-quality, at-cost, and on-time delivery of Front Vision Perception Work Products supporting ADAS features. Ownership of the Front perception including but is not limited to computer vision, image signal processing, hardware resource utilization, optical path, etc. Accountable for the perception KPIs definition and achievement in support of the regulatory requirements and industry standards such as NCAP, GSR, FMVSS. Accountable for the definition of the vision interface or other perception interface associated with front vision as a subsystem or as a standalone product (e.g.: radar, driver monitoring, etc.). Monitor Sprint metrics (e.g., Sprint velocity, defect rate etc.) of assigned product to ensure all engineering output delivered to support product releases is high quality, completed efficiently leveraging GP best practices. Define work product prioritization during Big Room Planning and other Product Development Planning events. Assign modules of technical product roadmap to team working on in a way that optimally leverages available engineering resources. Support engineering resource staffing onto product engineering team by coordinating among Lead, Technical Program Managers, and with competency managers. Support technical analysis and approve any product change requests. Lead any required First Application of Innovation reviews; manage risk mitigation plans appropriately. Accountable for organizing, conducting ADP2.x Gate Reviews and follow up of actions thereafter. Design and development of the technical product roadmap to ensure delivery to product roadmap. Define the breakdown of product features into modules that can be assigned to product engineering teams and developed in parallel. Develop product development workplan by estimating time and resources required, and identifying inter-dependency among modules. Refine or update technical product roadmap as needed during the product development phase, to reflect available resources and accommodate updates in product roadmap. Collaboration with other teams, organizations, and suppliers. Provide inputs to the Product Management team on technical feasibility, resource requirement, timeline, etc. Owns the technical product roadmap, the product engineering budget, and the product development output while influencing and refining the vision product roadmap. Participate and contribute to product strategy and vehicle architecture meetings with other product lines within Global Product. Lead Platform Interface for Global Product with Regional Engr., and when required with end customer. Authorize applicable platform utilizations for customer pursuit opportunities. Lead make vs. buy considerations; lead external supplier selection recommendations.
