The position involves leading planning and development efforts for a software engineering team, focusing on defining and prioritizing initiatives to drive the roadmap. The role requires ensuring frequent communication with internal customers to understand their needs through in-depth research. The candidate will drive software projects to completion by collaborating with engineering teams and unblocking any issues that arise. Additionally, the role involves working cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Technical Product Managers, Data Scientists, Program/Project Managers, and Agronomists. The candidate must understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, and evolution, and develop plans for mitigating risks while delivering features that meet requirements across multiple products.
