About The Position

The Technical Program Manager is a multi-talented individual who can oversee the entire lifecycle of complex technical projects; from planning and initiation to launch and deployment. The individual will manage a portfolio of projects across a variety of stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet all necessary scope and quality standards by coordinating cross functional teams, managing dependencies, mitigating risks and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience successfully managing large, multi-project and discipline, programs of work, delivering internal business and/or customer facing technology solutions.
  • Strong technical acumen, understanding system design, architecture, and technical details.
  • Proven history of guiding stakeholders and delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and leading with a clear vision.
  • Previous history working in both waterfall and agile software delivery environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage scope, establish timelines, and create development and testing plans.
  • Serve as the "glue" between teams like Engineering, IT, Operations, Supply Chain and Sales to ensure everyone is aligned and requirements are understood.
  • Apply deep technical understanding to participate in design reviews, ensure technical feasibility, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate potential risks and develop contingency plans to keep projects within the program of work on track.
  • Communicate status and articulate technical concepts, processes, and decisions clearly to diverse audiences, facilitating information flow across teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication and reporting with management and stakeholders.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Implement best practices and conduct post-mortem analyses to ensure repeatable success.
  • Identify issues and drive their resolution, often by facilitating discussions between technical teams and risk owners.
