HawkEye 360 is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the programmatic planning and execution for HawkEye's next-generation constellation payloads. This includes hands-on management of the spacecraft throughout the program lifecycle, from kick off through launch and operations. The TPM will serve as the central point of coordination between engineering, operations, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure mission success. This role requires a deep understanding of complex aerospace systems, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver technical success on schedule and within budget.

  • Own end-to-end program management of our next-gen constellation, including payload design, integration, test, launch, and operations.
  • Develop and manage detailed program schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate across systems engineering, Assembly Integration & Test (AIT), software, and ground systems.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between internal teams and external partners (launch providers, component suppliers, regulators, etc.).
  • Identify and resolve technical risks, interdependencies, and integration challenges.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into actionable program plans.
  • Report program status, milestones, and risks to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain alignment between engineering execution and business goals.
  • Travel occasionally to launch sites (sometimes internationally) to support launch integration.
  • B.S. in a relevant engineering field (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in aerospace or satellite systems engineering, mission management, program management, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Experience in spacecraft design or operations.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and systems engineering processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • M.S. in relevant engineering field.
  • Experience with spacecraft AIT and launch integration.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft regulatory requirements for spacecraft.
